Our Mission 

It is the heart of Healing Hands Global to provide comprehensive medical, dental and spiritual care to people in rural, underserved areas of the Third World.

Our present focus is Honduras, as we have established a rural hospital in the village of Rio Viejo, a small mountain community on the Northern coast. God has called us to serve the least of these  and medicine is the tool He has given us to show the love of Christ to the people in a practical way.

 

 

Our Vision

Our goal is to develop a comprehensive model for health care delivery in rural areas that can be duplicated in other Third World settings. This model will include community based and clinic based components.

Community based initiatives include medical and dental brigades in outlying villages, dietary and hygiene education in local schools, as well as community development projects. Clinical components include inpatient and outpatient healthcare, women’s health, labor & delivery, programmed surgeries, as well as diagnostic and emergency services.

The uniqueness of our approach is that it includes preventative as well as therapeutic measures. Our holistic philosophy ushers us into the village setting and even into their household where we become aware of their daily routines. This allows us to affect their quality of life through education. This close relationship also gives us the opportunity to share the most important message to humanity, the gift of Christ.
